How Fees Are Set
Psychology associations in Australia provide annual fee recommendations to guide psychologists in setting their rates, based on training and experience. Shalav Mehta’s fees are set in line with these professional guidelines and reflect his 18 years of experience.

Rebates Available To You
Medicare Rebates
With a Mental Health Care Plan from your GP, you may be eligible for Medicare rebates — for both face-to-face and telehealth sessions.
- Up to 10 rebated sessions per calendar year
- Mental Health Care Plans are valid for two years
- Changed psychologist? Simply ask your GP to update your plan with Shalav's name
Don't have a Mental Health Care Plan? Your GP can arrange one in a longer appointment. It's a simple, worthwhile step toward accessing support.
Private Health Insurance Rebates
Depending on your health fund and level of cover, you may be eligible for rebates through your private health insurance. Contact your insurer directly to check whether psychological services are covered in your plan.

The following funding schemes are accepted at no cost to you:

- Victim Services
- WorkCover NSW
- CTP NSW
- TAC Victoria
- NDIS
- Other approved funding schemes
